Remote Recon Vehicle >> Ready

Well sometime back Turbine and a few of our friends gathered at a BBQ at my place. We were looking at some of my RC gear and we came up with the idea of using one of my rock crawlers as a platform for a Remove Recon Vehicle (RRV).

Turbine found a great little camera and portable display unit. I picked another one up the other day and have now mounted it on the Vehicle. We can actually use Turbine's camera as a different view from the vehicle if needed.

My plan is to have it swivel left and right however the swivel mount I crafted has too much wobble and the camera bounces too much. So it is currently on a fixed mount. It does work in pitch black or lighted areas which I tested at night in my house.

It worked flawlessly. I was able to go into every room of my house turn around and come back to my garage without any human intervention.

Well here it is with armor on it now. The armor is safety glass made of the same material and rated the same as the safety glasses and goggle we use. So this thing is field ready.
